In these challenging times, when people need to find their inner selves more than ever and regain the joy of living, the Unifying Worlds concert aims to move not only the jazz and classical music lovers, but also at the general public, interested in musical eclecticism and exploring the nouveau. The outcome will be a program in which Teodora Brody will present worldwide unique vocal versions of instrumental classics, including premieres of George Enescu’s Rhapsodies I and II, Beethoven’s Pathétique and Moonlight Sonatas Bartok’s Romanian Dances, and J. The Unifying Worlds concert will embark the audience on a surprising inner journey, where the versatile and creative Teodora Brody will blend the elements of classical music with the spontaneity of jazz and the depth and strength of the Romanian Doina. Alongside Teodora will perform Calin Grigoriu on guitar, Andrei Kivu on cello, and Joca Perpignan on percussion, with the Romanian Opera Choir as a special guest. The performance is part of the Creative Bucharest series within the 2021 George Enescu International Festival. Teodora Enache-Brody will perform on Wednesday, September 18, at The Romanian National Opera, the Unifying Worlds – From Beethoven to Enescu concert.
